Position: Coordinator
Our client, an established downtown company, is seeking an entry to mid-level Coordinator in the Corporate Planning department.
The ideal candidate for this position possesses a strong work ethic, a drive to succeed, and pride in their own work. They are a punctual, reliable, efficient, and organized person, with the ability to deal with a variety of tasks each day.
- Developing policies relating to a company’s ethical, sustainable and environmental responsibilities
- Ensuring a company has a positive impact on local communities and the environment
- Raising public awareness of a company’s social responsibility commitments through marketing
- Conducting research into best practice
- Writing and actioning a company's social responsibility strategy
- Creating partnerships with clients, employees, suppliers, charities, and other groups
- Ensuring that a company’s policies meet legal and commercial needs
- Organizing events for employees and their teams
- Encouraging links between the company and educational or charitable groups
- Spreading the word in schools and local organizations about the company and construction in general
- Reporting on social responsibility activity to senior managers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Working with the senior management team, create and monitor the company's business plan
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and achieve business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and align planning efforts
- Handle and support ad-hoc projects related to corporate planning from other offices/subsidiaries including Headquarters and Global head office.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership
- Stay updated on industry best practices, competitive landscape, and emerging trends
- Support the development of business cases and financial models for new initiatives
- Identify and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage vendors (Office supply, office food & beverages, and others)
- Assist in accounts payable (most payable to be outsourced and responsible for managing vendors)
- Work on continuous improvement for outsourcing.
- Responsible for fixed asset registration and monitoring.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or relevant field of study (New graduates are welcome)
