Position Overview:
The Colour Coordinator plays a key role in developing and maintaining essential documents and processes that support colour development at Canada Goose. This position involves extensive collaboration with the product team, the Paris atelier, suppliers, and cross-departmental partners. The ideal candidate will excel in project management and time management, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide continuous support to the Manager, Colour Development,
- Supports colour team with tracking colour developments, organizing and filing colour standards, lab dips, other general office support and communicating with external vendors as required.
- Order and track colour standards
- Maintenance of colour library at our HQ
- Coordinate shipping and receiving of packages
- Maintenance of PLM for colour development and exports to D365 system
- Partner with design team to build seasonal colour boards
- Additional duties as assigned by the Manager, Colour Development
Experience, Education and Designations:
- Experience in product design, textiles, or fashion.
- Familiarity with working in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe + Microsoft suite.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
- A self-starter with strong planning and organization skills and detail-oriented, with the strong ability to work with cross functional teams.
- Able to manage multiple activities and work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate high level of professionalism and discretion with both internal and external partners
- Strong communication skills (written, oral, presentation) and ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Strong presentation skills
