We are excited to be looking for an Assistant Video Editor to join our team. This role is going to be part of Omnicom Production Canada Group.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Digital asset input and organization.
- Assisting editor in editing process: project set-up, selections, rough edits.
- Searching for stock footage, music and sound effects.
- Collaborate with producers, creative teams, PMs and account teams.
- Subtitling: Generate subtitles, provide SRT files to social media specialists and implement final SRT files into the timeline.
- Final Deliverables: Prepare, QC and export final files in the requested sizes and formats.
- File Organization: Create and maintain client/project folders, organize files, and archive completed projects and their source elements following established guidelines.
- Some client service responsibilities for inhouse sessions.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Media or Film Degree or equivalent
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects
- 0-3 years of experience
ADDITIONAL ASSETS:
- Working knowledge in Photoshop
- Working knowledge in DaVinci Resolve (colour grading)
- AI literacy/comprehension
- Portfolio: A reel showcasing a range of video editing projects
