First Step, a group of healthcare-related businesses operating throughout the GTA and Southern Ontario, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for our Head Office in North York.
In the role you will provide administrative support to our External Operations, Head Office Management Team, some Bookkeeping and Support to our Quality Assurance. (QA)
Functions

Responsibilities
- General office administration functions
- Liaison with, and provide administrative support to, external sites
- Purchasing supplies and some inventory management
- Manage agreements with utilities, cleaning, shredding, supplies, pest control, fire safety, toner, alarms, photocopiers, etc. for all sites
· Assist Accounting Department with some Accounts Payable functions, Quickbooks entry, Filing/Invoice matching and other general tasks
Skills
- At least 5 years of proven work experience in administrative support role
- Strong organizational skills
- High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with acute attention to detail
- Integrity and professionalism
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of Quickbooks
- GMP/QA experience preferred but not essential
