What You’ll Do:
The People & Culture (P&C) Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the Compensation & Benefits, Talent Development, and P&C Operations functions within the People & Culture department. This position demands a robust background in systems and analytics, along with the ability to interpret data and generate reports that inform strategic decision-making.
The People & Culture Analyst reports to the Sr. Manager, Compensation & Benefits (in the interim) and develops strong relationships with cross-functional d epartment(s) , and other key cross-functional areas at Metrie .
Work Location: Located in Vancouver, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office attendance three days a week. For internal applicants, we will consider all Metrie locations.
Responsibilities:
Compensation & Benefits :
- Conduct comprehensive analysis, development, and maintenance of compensation data and trends to facilitate informed salary adjustments, benchmarking, and equity assessments.
- Evaluate trends and generate reports on employee benefits programs, encompassing health, retirement, and wellness initiatives.
- Compile and present detailed reports on compensation and benefits metrics for management review, while also addressing ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests from People & Culture leadership, specifically in the realm of compensation and benefits.
- Assist in compensation and benefits projects by offering well-researched recommendations for compensation programs, informed by metrics and reporting outcomes.
- Engage in budget modeling, exploring alternative solutions and conducting what-if analyses to enhance strategic decision-making.
Talent Development:
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations and analysis on talent development programs, initiatives and metrics for management review.
- Gather insights from the succession planning program and the career aspiration survey to support the growth and development of employees.
- Monitor monthly costs and su pport budgeting efforts, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
People & Culture Operations:
- Oversee the development and implementation of P&C metrics , reports and dashboards to effectively track perform ance and identify trends in P&C operations.
- Analyze P&C data to pinpoint trends and areas for improvement within P&C operations.
- Support the implementation of P&C technologies and systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in reporting.
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from P&C leadership to provide timely insights.
- Collaborate with P&C teams to facilitate various initiatives and projects.
Who You Are:
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Post-secondary education in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Experience in People & Culture is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors or other HRIS systems and data manag ement is adv antageous .
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion when handling sensitive P&C data.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- Eager to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

In adherence to the principle of pay transparency, we are pleased to disclose the base pay for this full-time position at Metrie. The base pay range for this role is set at CAD $73,000.00−$85,000.00. It is important to note that this position may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location. Please note that the actual pay may vary and can be higher or lower than the posted range based on these factors.
