Pay : $21.91 / hour
Location : Richmond, BC
Monday to Friday 9:00 - 5:00 pm
This position is responsible for providing administrative support for operations, production and other departments as assigned. This is a
temporary full-time position covering medical leave and may change to permanent fulltime.
Responsibilities
- Communications with the drivers and service technicians
- Quick and efficient responses to customers and call center
- Prepare and receive courier packages and sign-in, meet and greet all visitors
- Assist in the scheduling, planning and preparation of meetings and conferences
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Lead and/or participate in special events
- Maintain the boardroom and support Health and Safety Committee
- Delivery Pre-Calls for Retail accounts
- Building Retail tickets and scheduling
- Reporting (daily, monthly quarterly, annually, special projects)
- Highlight and post daily results
- Responsible for assisting with inventory and purchasing.
- Developing systems to maintain expenses, purchase orders and invoices.
- Liaison to branch vendors
- Processing and tracking Purchase Orders
- Manage associate accounts and assist other departments with projects and tasks
- Other administrative duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience
- Office administration knowledge required and Logistics skills
- Working knowledge and efficient in Microsoft, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Superb analytical and problem-solving skills (must be solution-focused)
- Effective verbal, listening, and written communications skills
- Strong time management skills and a strong ability to multi-task
- Detail oriented, organized and time management
- Dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and operational excellence
- Flexible and multi-tasker able to provide a wide range of support activities in a team environment
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Travel may be required to events, training, etc.
