Summary

AGAT Laboratories is currently hiring for a Full-Time Sample Receipt Technician to join our team in our Vancouver, BC. location. In this role the successful candidate will be providing administrative tasks and supporting with basic logistics activities. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out where they will gain valuable experience and direction from the Logistics Supervisor and team.

Duties

Ensure samples are properly entered in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and are available to laboratory staff in a timely manner.
Ensure all sample integrity issues are properly documented and reported.
Ensure incoming non-sample deliveries are properly processed.
Ensure all safety procedures are followed.
Responsible to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma.
Previous customer service work experience would be an asset.
Good English communication skills.
Basic computer skills and experience with MS Office.
Organized and attention to details with ability to problem solve.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment: This position requires a person to stand, sit and lift throughout the shift in a shipping warehouse environment. This position may require consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Manual dexterity is required to perform repetitive tasks. PPE is required where applicable.
