The Support Specialist (“SS”) will report directly to the COO & Executive Producer Flyover Attractions (“FOA”), while working closely with other members of the Flyover leadership team. The SS will be responsible for providing organizational and logistics support to the COO and play a critical role in Flyover achieving its business goals. The primary support will be focused on assisting in schedule management, special projects, document drafting, travel coordination, general administration, office management, and more. The SS is considered a valuable senior team member who has a strong pulse on the business and team culture. The SS will primarily be based in Vancouver, BC, and some international travel will be required. Therefore, an ability and willingness to travel is a key component of this role. Most of all, effective communication, relationship building, and attention to detail are a must, along with an internal drive to make a difference at Flyover Attractions.
What is the compensation for this role?
The wage for this role is $62K yearly; details of perks and the total compensation package will be discussed during the interview process.
What will you do in this job?
- Calendar management: scheduling meetings and events and ensuring no conflicts.
- Meeting preparation assistance: drafting agendas, creating presentations, gathering documents and management of meeting logistics.
- Travel management: planning all travel and managing associated expense reports.
- Office management: overseeing Support Office duties including supplies, resources, access, administration, and general cleanliness.
- Event Management: organizing annual events including leadership workshops and social committee activities.
- Special project support: providing extra support related to ad-hoc special projects that could demand research, analysis and more.
- Strategic partner: using initiative to be one step ahead of the FOA leadership team's requirements, listen closely and anticipate business needs. This includes a strong curiosity and willingness to ask questions.

Ideal Experience
- Previous experience as a personal assistant, executive assistant, or support based role.
- Solid experience with most office tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to travel within Canada and the US.
- Creativity, flexibility, and a keen sense of entertainment and adventure.
