Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Vaughan, as the Shipper :
- Possible responsibility for planning day to day shipments and deliveries
- Ensuring that all orders are loaded and shipped in a timely and safe manner;
- Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment;
- Ensure that customer requirements are being met consistently;
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of shipment;
- Verification of corner markers and counts
- Pack, seal, and label materials to prepare for shipping;
- Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments;
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials;
- Complete daily shipping and receiving logs;
- Record shipment data for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes;
- May contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials;
- Maintain cleanliness in shipping and receiving area.
