Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and services necessary for the company's operations. This role requires strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of supply chain management to ensure the best pricing and quality from vendors. As a detailed oriented and strategic thinker, the Buyer will play a critical role in maintaining inventory levels and supporting production needs through effective vendor management.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to secure favorable contracts.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and new products.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensures invoice discrepancies are addressed in a timely fashion
- Undertake any other assignments as reasonably issued

- Computer skills including MS Office 365 and procurement software
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a buyer or in a similar procurement role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
