Description:
In your role as a Sales Assistant at Oriental Surfaces, your responsibilities will be driving revenue growth and promoting strong relationships with customers. You'll need to demonstrate a high interest in increasing sales and expanding the company's market share while maintaining a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
As a sales assistant, your tasks will include various aspects of sales strategy, including developing an effective marketing plan, customer account plan, managing existing accounts, establishing new business potential, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This opportunity will allow you to develop exceptional sales and business development skills.
Responsibilities:
- Primary duties will include managing key sales accounts such as Stone Fabricators, Architects and Designers, Kitchen & Bath Retailers, Builders, and General Contractors.
- Conduct market research on new potential customers to expand market share
- Established New customers, while maintaining good relationship with existing customers
- Provide excellent customer support to clients by following up requests, answering questions, providing samples, updating sample towers to increase sales volume.
- Understanding of competitors and key trends in our industry
- Practice excellent sales and marketing techniques efficiently and effectively
- Market trend research by visiting K&B Retailers, Designers, General Contractors, and/or Stone fabricators
- Analyze competitor’s design and customer requirements.
- Perform regular competitors analysis on Products
- Research market and design trends, analyzing market trends and customer requirements.
- Meet with designers and others in showroom as needed

- Must hold a valid Ontario driver’s license with a good driving abstract.
Work Conditions:
- This position requires driving & traveling to customers within the assigned area.
- This position also requires reliable and regular attendance.
- Flexibility in your schedule is mandatory, including occasional weekends for customer meetings and/or events.
- Exposure to various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and/or hold items up to 25 lbs may be required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $38,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
