The Position Background: Our Forepersons are the most dependable, motivated leaders of our Landscape Construction team. This key person is the ‘go to’ for ensuring projects and customer requests are completed and installed in a timely manner, both efficiently and effectively. They are aligned with who we are and where we are going as a company. At Tersigni Landscape Construction, our Forepersons have a keen eye for detail and are passionate about Landscape Construction excellence and are proud members of our Team. Job Duties:
- Assist in the preparation of jobsites prior to the beginning of a project
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to
- complete projects
- Interlocking and natural stone layout and construction techniques
- Operate various landscape construction hand tools
- Working knowledge of carpentry
- Working knowledge of electrical
- Retaining wall layout and construction
- Grading and drainage
- Concrete forming and finishing
- knowledge of Planting
- Drive and operate a variety of trucks/equipment to complete a variety of job tasks
- to assist with landscape construction projects work activities and calculate requirements
- Safe truck and trailer operation
- Skid Steer and excavator operation
- Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings and specifications to perform
- Help coordinate work on jobsites
- Ability to work both independently and supervise other workers
- Effective communications skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Experience with the following is not necessary but is an asset:
- Ability to operate skid steer, mini excavator, power wheelbarrow
- Ability to operate single axle dump truck and float trailer
- Ability to secure loads
Work Conditions:
- Understand, accept and agree to the job duties as outlined
- Ability to work in a FAST PACED environment with excellent stamina and good manual
- dexterity and positive attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions.
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
- 50 hour work week.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
