Superflux Beer Company is seeking a motivated, passionate and talented
brewer to join our growing production team, based in Vancouver. The
Assistant brewer is accountable for most aspects of beer production brewing,
following company recipes, and procedures, taking direction from the Head
Brewer. The ideal candidate is passionate about beer and brewing, and shall
possess at least 2 years experience in a professional brewing role.
Responsibilities:
● Reporting to the lead and head brewer
● Wort Production
● Managing and Monitoring fermentation
● Yeast Management
● Sensory analysis and Quality Control
● Cleaning
● Washing & Filling Kegs
● Operation of packaging equipment
● Performing CIP operations on fermentation vessels, conditioning tanks,
brewing vessels, and packaging equipment
● Racking beers from Fermenters to Conditioning vessels
● Carbonating beers and testing saturation levels of CO2
● Organizing warehouse
● Loading and unloading trucks
● Draught system maintenance
Job Qualifications
● 2+ Years of Brewing Experience
● A passion for Great Beer
● Additional Brewing Education
● Physically fit and able to maneuver 70kg kegs as well as lifting 25kg
repeatedly
● Ability to work a flexible schedule
● Serving it Right certificate
● Fork Lift Operation license
● Occupational First Aid Level 1
● WHMIS Certificate
Compensation / Start Date:
● Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000
