You will be responsible for working with new & existing candidates & prospects as well as franchise brokers & consultants as they explore the Metal Supermarkets franchise opportunity. You bring a strategic approach to sales, excellent communication, computer & interpersonal skills as well as a consultative sales approach to communicate our brand proposition & value to candidates.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Franchise Development & working closely with the Chief Operating & Development Officer, the Franchise Development Representative acts in a consultative and professional manner to attract, educate & enthuse potential Metal Supermarkets franchise candidates. They participate in the candidate identification, qualification, discovery & award process including recommending qualified candidates to be granted franchisees. The Franchise Development Representative fully participates in planning, seeking, & gaining broker engagement to identify candidates.
- The Franchise Development Representative will conduct themselves in a professional manner conducive to a collaborative team environment dedicated to superior & professional service by building relationships with corporate staff, franchisees, franchise brokers & franchise prospects.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying, managing, coaching, qualifying & developing Metal Supermarkets franchise candidates
- Present the brand professionally & supervise the sales process with efficiency, passion, skill & accuracy
- Act in & ensure compliance with applicable franchise laws & regulations
- Coordinate & participate in franchise candidate Discovery Days
- Achieve goals including sales targets, planning & forecasting
- Attend, assist & participate in selected franchise trade shows, conferences & broker events
- Utilize the CRM system to maintain a complete, accurate & up-to-date database of all franchise candidates
- Report on progress including candidate progress, issues, roadblocks & opportunities
- Monitor daily & weekly lead generation & prospect pipelines and provide recommendations on how to effectively market the franchise opportunity
- Build relationships with various franchise broker groups to increase the number of qualified candidates presented by them
- Comply with all Policies & Procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of franchise ales experience
- College or University degree preferred
- Excellent interpersonal & sales skills
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Experience in presenting to small groups & individuals
- Ability to work flexible workhours, sometimes on short notice, to accommodate candidate & broker availability
- Functional experience in retail marketing, sales & store operations is beneficial
- Strong work ethic
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office 365 Suite & CRM software
- Ability to travel to conduct business

Base Salary: $ 65,000 - $ 75,000 commensurate with experience plus incentive
