Product Associate, LiveWell Assessments
Join our dynamic Product Management team at Medcan, where you’ll be the voice of the customer, supporting innovation and product evolution for our LiveWell Assessments portfolio. Reporting to the Director, Clinical Innovation, you’ll support key projects focused on improving client health outcomes and achieving business objectives across our LiveWell Assessment products, including the Annual Health Assessment. You’ll help execute our product roadmap, monitor product lifecycle and work across functions to identify, develop and launch new products and features to align with the company’s mission to help our clients Live Well, For Life.
Accountabilities:
- Support the execution of the product roadmap for the LiveWell Assessments portfolio with a focus on innovation to improve client health outcomes and engagement.
- a. Support priority projects and lead select product launches and enhancements through effective planning and engagement with key stakeholders in alignment with the product development process.
- b. Monitor and track the progress of product innovation initiatives from conception to launch, prepare and deliver regular reports on the status of the product innovation pipeline to stakeholders and collaborate with product team to gather insights and update pipeline status accurately.
- c. Support, document and report on horizon scanning initiatives across entire product portfolio.
- d. Support strategic initiatives as needed, such as requirements gathering, business cases, analysis, and executive-level presentations.
- Deeply understand customers, competitors and market trends to support product strategy and innovation.
- a. Gain insight about client segments, usage, wants and needs through analysis of client behavior, survey data and regular engagement with front-line stakeholders.
- b. Analyze Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) feedback on a regular basis to identify trends and areas for improvement and compile and present actionable recommendations based on CSAT data to enhance customer experience.
- c. Collaborate with the Operations team to enhance the client journey at Medcan by identifying and implementing new opportunities for client engagement and retention. Conduct client feedback analysis, market research, and competitive benchmarking to develop strategies that improve client satisfaction and loyalty.
- d. Conduct thorough independent research and attend webinars, and other relevant events to identify and analyze emerging trends in preventative health. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and actionable insights to the product development team.
- e. Perform regular analysis of both direct and aspirational (e.g., global) competitors to gather insights into their product offerings, pricing strategies, sales tactics, and marketing approaches. Utilize this information to report on and provide recommendations that will inform and enhance our product development, pricing models, sales strategies, and marketing campaigns.
- Contribute to product development process and support business objectives.
- a. Conduct thorough research on competitors pricing strategies, analyze pricing data to identify opportunities for pricing adjustments and improvements and collaborate with sales, finance and operations to implement pricing updates across the product portfolio.
- b. Leverage customer and market insights to develop pricing that complements the product strategy and supports growth and retention.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate and/or Master’s degree in Health Sciences, Business, Healthcare Management or a combination thereof
- Highly organized with a proven ability to deliver results in a timely basis with minimal supervision
- Data-driven and comfortable translating quantitative and qualitative analysis into actionable insights and recommendations
- Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at defining a problem and working collaboratively to identify and implement practical solutions
- Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and a strong drive for gaining new knowledge and insights
- Flexibility to respond to changing business priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday with 2 days in the office at 150 York St in downtown Toronto.
