Join The Team:
ERCO Worldwide is looking for a LIMS Administrator to join our R&D team! This position plays a key role in supporting the implementation of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) across all production sites and provide system training to employees. Additionally, the LIMS Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance and support of LIMS. The LIMS Administrator works closely with laboratory staff, IT team and other stakeholders to optimize system functionality and ensure data integrity.
The Role:
LIMS Implementation & Site Customization
- Support the implementation of LIMS at all manufacturing sites
- Collaborate with site leadership and cross functional teams including the IT department to tailor LIMS configuration to meet local production and operational needs
- Develop and maintain operational LIMS documentation and diagrams
- Develop test plans where required for LIMS validation
- Provide ongoing site support during and after implementation to address technical issues and optimize system performance
User Support & Training
- Provide continuous support to LIMS users via a ticketing system, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and incidents within defined SLA timelines.
- Maintain and Modify discrepancies identified by the R&D Analytical Group or other manufacturing sites.
- Develop and conduct end user training specific to ERCO LIMS for new and existing users
- Develop, edit and maintain LIMS Standard Operating Procedures for both administrative and end-user use, ensuring proper execution through collaboration with IT and Analytical Group.
Data Management
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory required by monitoring data inputs, outputs and system performance
- Implement and manage system workflows and reports within the LIMS to ensure data accuracy and efficiency
- Review access controls on a regular basis.
The Person: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology related field
- Minimum 2 years of LIMS experience or with a similar SAAS system
- Completed Co-Op experience
- Experience in using MS SharePoint or related document management systems
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to LIMS configuration
- Proficiency in creating and editing SQL database and Crystal Reports is an asset
- Basic understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) requirements in lab and production sites.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of chemistry/chemical engineering nomenclature
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Experience in data governance and maintaining database integrity
- Ability to travel when needed to ERCO Sites.
