Our client is seeking a Residential Property Administrator in North York to join their dynamic team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service to residents and managing all facets of property administration, including lease management, rent processing, and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the highest standards of customer service.
- Communicate clearly with residents and stakeholders.
- Address resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints; escalate to the Property Manager when necessary.
- Collaborate with Property Managers and Accountants to prepare monthly Management Reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic filing systems.
- Update the Weekly Availability Report based on information from Leasing Specialists and Property Managers; distribute weekly.
- Process rental applications, including employment verification, landlord references, and credit checks.
- Set up approved leases in Yardi, and prepare lease documentation.
- Manage tenant move-ins and move-outs, including notices and final rent processes.
- Assist tenants in setting up utility accounts.
- Collect, process, and record rent payments in Yardi.
- Set up Pre-Authorized Payments (PAP) for tenants.
- Handle NSF payments and issue Notices of Termination (N4s) for non-payment of rent.
- Prepare weekly collection letters and make bank deposits.
- Prepare collection files for past tenants.
- Process monthly rent billings and ensure accuracy.
- Update market rents and add extra charges for parking, lockers, etc.
- Respond to maintenance requests and tickets, and offer technical support to tenants and staff.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Degree in a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in leasing and property administration.
- Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi is an asset.
