Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized LEAD Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations of our dental office, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and efficient administrative support for our dental team. This role requires proficiency in electronic medical records, familiarity with dental terminology, and strong communication skills to handle patient inquiries effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients as they arrive and provide a warm, friendly atmosphere.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirm patient visits using electronic medical records systems.
- Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
- Maintain accurate patient records in PARADIGM dental software.
- Process patient intake forms and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
- Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate with insurance providers as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk role within a dental office is preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records management; experience with PARADIGM is an asset.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology related to dentistry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with phone systems and administrative duties in an office setting.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $18.48-$24.00 per hour
