Industrial Sales Representative – Polytarp Products
Location: Canada
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive base salary + Bonus incentives
Polytarp Products is a leader in flexible packaging and has recently expanded its capacity in plastic film production for the industrial and food packaging sectors. We are seeking a team player who can collaborate with our Technical staff to develop and sell innovative flexible packaging solutions for a variety of industries, including:
· Automated packaging equipment
· Protective films for product preservation (e.g., extending shelf life for perishable foods, preventing rust on industrial materials)
· Plastic liners for storage containers, such as corrugated boxes and Gaylords
· Industrial and food-grade films for moisture, oxygen, and contamination protection
· Specialty films for applications in agriculture, construction, pharmaceuticals, and logistics
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial and food packaging sectors
· Work closely with Technical staff to provide customers with customized packaging solutions
· Recommend and sell the right liners, films, and packaging materials for specific applications
· Use a CRM system to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data
· Provide technical product knowledge and support to clients
· Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets
· Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in industrial sales (preferably in plastics or packaging)
· Experience with CRM software (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
· Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team, including Technical staff
· Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
· Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and trade shows
· Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset

Pay: $75,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
