Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients in a hospital setting, with a focus on pediatrics and acute care. Duties
- Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
- Dispense medications accurately and provide information on proper usage and potential side effects.
- Monitor patient medication therapies for effectiveness and safety, making necessary adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive medication plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about medications, including administration techniques and expected outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.
- Stay updated on medical terminology, drug interactions, and new medications to provide the best care possible.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Retail pharmacy operations, No vaccination, No Methadon , No Miner Ailment & Stress Free Work
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to medication administration and patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in an acute care environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing patient needs and medication effectiveness.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of pharmacy.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
