PWB is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to support the team in a variety of accounting-related areas such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger Accounting. This role will support financial and administrative functions by ensuring accuracy in maintaining compliance with accounting systems and coordinating with production and sales teams to help streamline financial operations. As part of a fast-paced team, this is an opportunity for an entry-level professional to gain experience with high-volume, complex accounting while servicing numerous internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices with approval as required
- Post invoices in our ERP SYSPRO
- Create EFTs for prepaid invoices
- Prepare Purchase Orders
- Print & mail cheques out as needed
- Sending payment remittances to vendors
- Collect, review, and track expense reports for Sales Reps, Sales Manager and Plant Manager
- Match receipts with expenses and code accordingly
- Inquire and collaborate with internal stakeholders with concerns as needed
- Post and close ER in Syspro
- Download inventory reports - send to the Order Desk Supervisor - upload to Liquify
- Assist the Accounting team with all YE requirements
- Support in data entry for packaging material usage and receiving
- Process bank deposits
Skills and Experience
- Degree, diploma, or certification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
- Excellent business communication skills, with both verbal and written.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Proficient at working in a digital and paper-free environment.
- Experience in accounting, administration, bookkeeping or a related field is an asset.
- Experience with SYSPRO ERP or any other ERP is an asset.
