Responsibilities
Performs a variety of clerical duties using the automated Fleet Management System (FMS) and other systems and software including verifying and entering pertinent data from work orders to the FMS to update records of specific repairable parts information, opening and closing work orders as requested, creating and maintaining documents related to Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), and entering pertinent information from invoices covering repairable parts, etc. Performs a variety of general clerical duties related to Fleet Overhaul activities. Checks time sheets for accuracy and enters information into the payroll system or forwards to the Pay Department, assists staff to complete various forms related to employee benefits, sets up and advises Fleet Overhaul staff regarding compulsory and voluntary training sessions, and liaises with Accounts Payable to resolve Local Purchase Order and invoice payment problems.
Education
Qualifications
Requires Grade 12 graduation including courses in office procedures, basic accounting, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
Experience
Requires one (1) year previous experience in the maintenance of a large number of computerized files and records pertaining to work orders and vehicle maintenance or similar activities. A further period of up to six (6) months in the position is required to gain knowledge of the records to be maintained, Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) policies and procedures and the provincial rules and requirements and to become familiar with corporate policies and procedures, office routines and requirements, applicable sections of the collective agreements dealing with pay provisions, and a variety of forms and reports.

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

Rate of Pay
Salary $5,157 - $6,188 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
