About the Position
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for creating, posting, and optimizing content across all social media platforms on a day-to-day basis. The Social Media Coordinator strengthens The Cup Store’s online presence by continuously identifying creative methods of engagement. The ideal candidate has excellent writing skills, can perform a range of tasks such as video editing, videography, Instagram reels and post or other graphics related tasks as required.
What You Would Be Doing:
- Partnering with internal team members to drive social media content that aligns with the organization’s current and upcoming projects and priorities.
- Creating content for social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Developing creative social media content like videos, reels and Instagram/Facebook/LinkedIn posts that aligns with the organization’s communications and goals.
- Writing and captioning the posts for all social media platforms based on monthly content calendar.
- Performing outreach through social media when appropriate.
- As the first responder on digital platforms, providing quick responses to customer inquiries via social media, ensuring excellent customer service and consistent brand experience for all followers.
- Generating innovative original content (with an emphasis on the creation of visual content) for initiatives and promotions for The Cup Store, aligning with brand voice and character.
- Taking initiative to build stories around The Cup Store and its offerings that intrigue customers.
- Providing expert advice to Project management team and communicating any technical issues regarding art files that would result in inferior quality output.
Must Have:
- Ability to communicate well in a fast-paced and creative environment.
- College or Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must be extremely detail oriented, very well organized and able to prioritize tasks.
- The ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years social media experience.
- Basic to intermediate experience with Adobe Illustrator.
- Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro is considered an asset.
- Available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
