We are looking for a Canada Campus Relations Business Partner to join our team! As a member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and helping to secure amazing talent into the GHD family. You'll be a GHD Ambassador and strategic partner to the business by developing attraction strategies and championing organic growth initiatives while building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This position will be located in the Greater Toronto Area, Vancouver B.C. or Montreal, Quebec Canada.
Specific responsibilities in this role will include:
- Support and organize the campus relations team.
- Taking Direction from the Campus relations lead execute the strategy to identify and attract top Co-op, Intern and Graduate talent from campuses across the Americas
- Work close with the Inclusion and Diversity team to focus on attracting diverse early career talent
- Partner with outside support regarding diverse internship programs
- Work closely with the business to monitor entry-level staffing requirements to ensure resourcing needs are being met along with reporting on results
- Support lessons learned sessions post campus recruiting cycles with the business and provide recommendations to improve future process.
- Coordinate logistics for attendees at campus relations events including career fairs, classroom presentations, conferences and interview sessions, including but not limited to: Coordinate dates, venues, time, registration
- Assist with coordinating and managing events, including GHD Graduate Hiring Days, student engagement activities, Tech Talent Expos, conferences and other related events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute on-brand collateral for campus events that effectively promote our services and enhance brand recognition.
For success in this position, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Ability to develop relationships internally and externally
- 5+ years of experience in a professional services firm preferably in the Engineering, Environmental and Construction industry.
- Experience coordinating campus events, exposure to campus and university relations is a plus
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
- Client focused, with the ability to provide excellent service to hiring managers for a variety of technical orientated roles
- Proven commitment to ongoing candidate care for external and internal applicants
- Excellent time management and ability to remain organized in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Ability to take direction and work well independently
- Bilingual in French & English
