Marketing Content Coordinator, Advisor Experience
How does the role impact the organization?
As a key member of the Advisor Experience team, you will support senior team members in designing, implementing and optimizing the way we help Advisors market their practices. Reporting into the Senior Manager, you will work collaboratively and cross functionally across the Advisor Marketing team, with stakeholders in the business, and with hundreds of advisors to bring the Raymond James brand to life in distinct and measurable ways.
What will your role be responsible for?
- Proofread and provide editing recommendations to advisor marketing materials, ensuring accuracy in grammar, spelling, punctuation and style, as well as accuracy in names, titles, hyperlinks, and other relevant content.
- As a brand and marketing best practices champion, ensure content meets the Raymond James editorial and brand guidelines.
- Review materials for design best practices and Raymond James branding, to identify inconsistencies or errors, while also collaboratively sharing learnings across Advisor Experience team and design team members.
- Intake analysis on ServiceNow and coordination of projects – while ensuring clear communication of “the ask” and managing expectations (including timeline shifts) with advisors and key stakeholders (e.g. other marketing team members, compliance/ supervision, SMEs, etc.) to ensure projects are completed accurately and on-time within realistic timelines.
- Analyze common advisor requests to identify insights, trends and value-add recommendations for both operational/ workflow improvements and scalable creative solutions. (presentation format & cadence of delivery TBC in consultation with Senior Manager & Advisor Marketing VP)
- Continuously stay abreast of industry and advisor marketing best practices, and contribute meaningfully to weekly team meetings.
- In consultation with Senior Manager, manage ad hoc editing initiatives outside of ServiceNow.
- As needed, when identified by Senior Manager, support senior team members on new projects and priorities. (e.g. competitive reviews, informing and enhancing our advisor service model)

What do we expect from you?
To qualify for this opportunity you possess:
- Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or other relevant programs.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, or journalism
- Excellent eye for detail, and a strong sense of design and copywriting best practices, with demonstrated editing experience in professional services or the financial industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and present ideas to senior team members and advisors.
- Superb project management skills: The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to completion, while always thinking ahead and effectively adapting to changing priorities with a bigger-picture lens.
- Client-centric: a keen interest to understand the needs of advisors (and their clients), preferences and pain points with relentless focus on delivering creative ideas and service experience that add value and deliver results.
- Solutions-oriented & operational efficiency mindset; proactively identifies opportunities with recommendations to enhance the advisor experience and ways of working across the team and other day-to-day stakeholders.
