Reporting to the Director, Investor Relations, the Business Coordinator contributes to the overall success of Investor Relations, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. They will also ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for the engagement with internal and external stakeholders to communicate the bank’s financial results, strategy and objectives.
- Play a key role in the execution of that strategy by supporting the Senior Vice President and Investor Relations team in organizing and preparing for meetings and marketing activity.
- Work with the Investor Relations (“IR”) and Treasury team to execute marketing and conference attendance
- Be involved in all client-related activities, one-off events and special projects
- Manage corporate marketing scheduling and strategy.
- Liaise directly with external corporate access teams/investors and internal teams; follow up with feedback and correspondence
- Maintain the Investor Relations conference and meeting schedules; follow-up and update the team on pending issues and items
- Support the Investor Relations team’s preparation for investor meetings, including preparing profiles using the IR’s team software, reviewing marketing meeting schedules, registration for conferences, and proactively managing the Investor Relations calendar
- Be responsible for all the logistics required to ensure efficient running of each Investor Relations initiative, meeting or event, including arranging transportation, travel arrangements, booking internal meeting rooms, etc.
- Log and track all the investor engagement and meetings
- Manage the co-ordination of the annual rating agency meetings
- Perform tasks using independent judgment and discretion, i.e., compiling documents and presentation materials; screening and responding to incoming correspondence, inquiries, and phone calls; arranging meetings
- Provide input into developing and enhancing current processes and procedures. Comprehends and adheres to policies implemented globally.
- Use judgement and expertise to identify, resolve and escalate day-to-day administrative support, as required.
- Be responsible for Investor Relations invoicing and expense processing, including the payment, tracking and disputing of any Investor Relations invoices or expenses
- Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

- University Degree in a relevant area of study
- Proven performance in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Adaptability and professionalism
- Excellent analytical, decision making and organizational skills.
- Database experience (including MS Office, CRM and database work)
- Familiarity with other systems such as Thomson and Bloomberg, an asset
- Previous investor relations or fund management experience, an asset
- Excellent coordination, organizational, time-management and work prioritization skills
- Attention to detail, resourceful, and accountability in follow-up
- Communicates clearly, articulately and succinctly in both oral and written form, with the ability to communicate to all levels within the organization
- Flexibility, ability to manage change and an ability to learn quickly
- Ability to handle sensitive materials
