What You'll Do:
:
- Analyze project billings and prepare payment status reports.
- Research correspondence and prepares written summaries of such research, which in some instances, include recommendations for project management action.
- Prepare billing instructions and other contract administration instructions for project.
- Prepare reports, usually of a financial nature, relating to contract costs, incremental contract funding, number/dollar value of contracts received in given period, and project status reports.
- Administer the process by which project charge numbers are opened or closed for authorized labor and/or other direct costs.
- Administer the RFQ requirements for assigned contracts.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as needed.
What You'll Need:
:
- Successfully completed the MTO T131-Advanced Claims –Dispute Resolution training.
- Demonstrated Project Management experience as a Construction Contract Administrator and/or Senior Road Construction Inspector on three (3) or more similar MTO projects with at least one (1) having had a tender value of at least $2,600,000 at least one must be a grading, drainage, and hot mix paving contract and at least one (1) must be a new structure or a structural replacement contract.
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, and/or combination of related experience.
- PEO or OACETT registered, and or ability to be registered.
- Knowledge of the requirements of MTO's Construction Administration and Inspection Task Manual (CAITM).
- Knowledge of applicable design standards, OPS specifications, standard drawings, and quality control / quality assurance material testing methods
