Overview
Reporting to the Manager of Branding & Communications, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the professional development and implementation of all marketing communications and branding activities for Centurion Apartment REIT Centurion Asset Management Inc. | Centurion Property Associates Inc.
The Marketing Coordinator is accountable for the successful management of all marketing and advertising resources, contracts, tools and supplies for Centurion entities according to established standards and within established budgets.
Responsibilities
Relationship Development
Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a liaison between Centurion and its advertising partners and suppliers. Ensure that a high level of client satisfaction is achieved through consistent attention to Centurion's Vision, Mission and Values.
Brand Management
Maintain the company’s brand standards and style. Manage marketing collateral. This includes coordinating the creation of swag and handling logo requests. Coordinate photoshoots, ensuring the quality of photos are in line with styling guidelines and shot objectives and manage the photo library to maintain organization and accessibility. Compile competitor reports and maintain Centurion’s brand identity, ensuring all materials align with branding standards and the overall marketing strategy.
Ongoing Operations
Develop written content for company award submissions, external announcements, ESG activities as well as internal and external newsletters. Manage the day-to-day creative needs. Provide event support which includes sourcing vendors, coordinating venues and reviewing event-related contracts as needed. Collaborate with printer for press checks, proof approvals, and delivery of print materials. Organize the production of branded items such as stationary, collateral and promotional materials. Request and gather multiple quotes from Vendors for all related marketing purposes, processing invoices following the use of third-party services. Develop and document standard operating procedures within the role. Coordinate translation services.
Industry and Product Knowledge
Maintain a constant awareness of the competitive environment for similar products, conducting extensive research when required to obtain a full understanding of competitive market positioning. Ensure that the Vice President of Marketing and Manager of Branding & Communications are provided with the most current, favourable view of Centurion’s products and its competitive value and proposition.
Compliance
Work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure that all compliance procedures and regulatory requirements are followed with respect to the marketing process. Ensure that all materials are reviewed and approved by the Chief Compliance Officer prior to distribution to external parties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred;
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing and advertising, preferably within the property advertising, securities and/or REIT industries;
- Self-starter; highly motivated and able to take the initiative required to achieve set goals and objectives;
- Strong project management skills, able to oversee a task from start to finish with little guidance and supervision;
- Detail-oriented, able to resolve problems using relevant information, thinking and practical judgement;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Excellent organizational skills, with a strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once;
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively to both individuals and groups; and
- Excellent command of MS Office products: Word, Power Point, Excel.
