Reporting to the Manager of Process Automation, the process automation analyst/specialist is accountable for partnering with the business subject matter experts in Investment Resource group to identify, develop, implement and support a variety of automated solutions using tools offered at CC&L Financial Group for repetitive processes and tasks.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement automated solutions using MS Power Platform (i.e MS Power Automate, MS Power Apps, MS Power BI), MS Copilot and/or Python
- Identify opportunities and develop business requirements to effectively address issues
- Support existing and new automated solutions
- Develop and maintain good business relationships with “internal clients” and motivate a diverse team to influence and promote a culture of innovation
- Educate users on the capabilities of automation tools and best practices to fully identify use cases
- Collaborate with cross-function teams in various global locations to define and drive a standardized approach to leverage automation tools
- Act as a liaison with information system teams, operational risk teams and other key stakeholders to boost synergy within CC&L Financial Group
- Highly motivated individual with a proven track record to deliver results
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with an ability to collect and analyze data paired with passion to expand automation skillsets
What You Bring
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Well-developed knowledge of Robotic Process Automation tools such as MS Power Automate, UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere or data-centric, object-oriented programming language such as Python (preferred), Visual Basic, Visual Basic Applications, Java
- Experience with excel, excel formula and power query are asset
- Strong communication skills and an ability to articulate complex issues in a concise manner, able to synthesize complex information into simple discussion points
- Knowledge of project/program support, planning, implementation and change management
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and business process design, analysis and mapping
- Experience with data manipulation and utilizing multiple data source is an asset
- Tenacious mentality and ability to problem solve and ‘think outside of the box’
- Enjoys the challenge of a fast-paced, dynamic, high volume work environment
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
- Knowledge of financial services post-trade operational processes and compliance standards relevant to the financial services industry.
The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
