At EZ Chemicals, we are a leading supplier of high-quality chemical raw materials to manufacturers within the personal care, health and beauty, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, pet care, cleaning and sanitation and industrial industries. We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team and play a key role in managing and growing our accounts and sales.
Role Description
As an inside territory sales representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationship with new and existing customer. You will manage sales by identifying client needs, providing product recommendations processing orders and offering technical support and customer service as required. This role requires a strong understanding of the sales approach, being able to excel in a fast pace environment, and maintain a strong degree to professionalism when handling large B2B accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development: Actively prospect new business opportunities and manage existing client accounts to maximize revenue growth.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers via phone, email, and online platforms to understand their requirements and offer tailored solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the chemical raw materials we offer, including specifications, applications, and benefits.
- Order Management: Process customer orders, track deliveries, and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to clients, helping them select the appropriate materials for their specific needs.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with external sales teams, logistics, and the technical department to ensure smooth and efficient order fulfillment.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitors to effectively position the company's offerings.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, preferably within the chemical or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of chemical raw materials and their applications is highly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. French or Spanish is an asset.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to drive sales, manage accounts, and negotiate terms in a B2B environment.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand technical specifications and provide accurate recommendations to customers.
- Organization: Strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle a high volume of inquiries and orders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software (Salesforce or similar).
