Lekker Food Distributors is a privately held BC food distribution company. We specialize in providing fine food products to retailers and restaurants across Western Canada. Our company continues to grow, and our Vancouver sales team is currently seeking an energetic, self-motivated full-time foodservice sales representative for the downtown Vancouver area. The successful candidate must reside in or very close to the region of Vancouver proper.
Roles and Responsibilities:
You will report to the Sales Manager and this role will include, but not be limited to:
· Primarily prospecting new business in the restaurant, hotel and café market in Vancouver - selling our entre portfolio of fine cheese, local specialties, European imports, bakery items and beverages.
· Contributing to the overall development of the company’s sales strategy, sales tools and best practices
· Providing exceptional service to all customers
· Keeping customer account information up to date at all times and report any changes
· Addressing and resolving all customer concerns
· Participating effectively in meetings to resolve issues and acquiring updates on new products, pricing, and product promotions
· Coordinate efforts, as necessary, with other departments including marketing, customer service, accounts receivable, and warehouse operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must reside in or very close to the region of Vancouver proper
- Post-secondary education or minimum 5+ years sales experience in foodservice or CPG industry
- Exceptional sales skills and customer service oriented
- Goal oriented self-starter with high energy level and competitive spirit
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other applicable computer software
- Strong organizational skills, prioritizing, and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional work ethic and positive team attitude.

- Base Salary: $60 - $75K (based on experience), performance bonus, company car and gas card.
