Position Status: Permanent Full-Time

Description of the Position:
The Coordinator, Donor Care (“Coordinator”) will support and cultivate the development, stewardship, engagement and loyalty of donors, while handling phone and on-line inquiries for SickKids Foundation (“Foundation”). They will provide support in line with internal business practices, processes, quality guidelines and departmental reporting measurements to support the achievement of our goals. This position reports to the Manager, Donor Care.
You will:
- Respond to phone and email inquiries about The Hospital for Sick Children and SickKids Foundation in a manner which supports the Foundation’s mission;
- Support all of the various initiatives and campaigns in market across all business units at the Foundation by serving as the first point of contact via phone and online inquiries from donors and other members of the community, while following business practices and policies;
- Provide professional ‘‘first contact’’ with donors delivering exemplary donor services;
- Maintain donor relationships through donor care and stewardship activities;
- Perform outbound calls to up-sell/cross-sell as well as educate donors on other engagement opportunities;
- Retain/upgrade/educate donors following best practices to help achieve revenue goals
- Handle all Foundation-related inquiries and use judgment on when to escalate inquiries for further support;
- Update CRM (referred to as KYDs) and other relevant tools;
- Meet individual and team key performance indicators as set by the business, inclusive of, but not limited to, daily calls/emails, save retention, and quality targets;
- Keep the Manager, Donor Care aware of any concerns that may impact the team or donor satisfaction; and
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:
- Two (2) years of customer service, sales/save and call centre experience
- Post secondary education will be considered an asset;
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlooks, Word, Excel);
- Experience working with relationship databases will be considered an asset
- Superior communication, verbal and written skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations and information;
- High level of critical thinking with the ability to connect the donor to the organization in an impactful, meaningful way;
- Resourceful, strategic, and service oriented with excellent time management;
- Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to understand the importance of fundraising and stewardship;
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment;
- Someone with impeccable punctuality, attendance and reliability;
- Results-oriented with a proven ability to meet and exceed goals;
- Able to build new relationships with prospects, donors and volunteers;
- Ability to adjust to new tactics and strategies as they emerge;
- Organized with meticulous attention to detail; and
- Previous experience working within a Not-for-Profit environment will be considered an asset.

Total Compensation Package:
Hiring Salary Range: $49,353.00-$58,060.00 with the ability to progress to a maximum of $69,671.00. To ensure fair and equitable pay at SickKids Foundation, placement on the salary
range will be based on your years of experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the Coordinator, Donor Care.
