What You’ll Be Doing
As a Business/Technical Analyst Co- Op you will be responsible for analyzing, investigating and executing support requests from multiple testing & development facing CIBC partners in relation to common platforms (Windows, Unix, Network) hosting various types of middleware and applications. Working with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure end to end processes are followed through to completion is an integral component of the role. Developing and maintaining technology stewardship relationships to help better evolve the robustness, reliability, and agility of CIBC’s technology is our driving purpose.

How You’ll Succeed
- Strategy & Technology Design - Designs, implements, configures, and manages solutions within the supported technologies, products, and services. Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for operational tasks. Knowledge of system and network architecture and integrations – both technical and functional.
- Infrastructure Security - Integrates threat, vulnerability, IT, and business to prioritize incident handling and investigations. Demonstrated experience with performing security policy assessments. Defines security configurations for threat detection and prevention tools. Provides remediation recommendations for non-compliances.
- Leadership & Vendor Management - Collaborate with internal and external teams as well as stakeholders on report design, build, and delivery and provide analysis of the data to align with the strategic business processes. Maintains direction, and balances big-picture concerns occurring within the industry with day-to-day issues. Orchestrating and leading the execution of changes that are centric to both physical compute resources and their supporting site infrastructure hardware.
