About the Position:
The Digital & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting AEIP through tasks that include but are not limited to, enhancing AEIP’s visibility and impact by implementing comprehensive marketing and outreach strategies. This position focuses on managing digital platforms, creating engaging content, and fostering partnerships to promote AEIP’s pre-arrival services.
Reports to: Partnership & Communications Manager
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Outreach and Marketing
- Works with the Partnership & Communications Manager to develop and implement outreach and marketing strategies to raise awareness of AEIP Pre-Arrival services within the settlement sector.
- Identifies and leverages opportunities in the pan-Canadian settlement sectors to promote AEIP Pre-Arrival services.
- Conducts presentations and information sessions for partners, stakeholders, and potential clients via online platforms.
- Works with the AEIP team to organize and promote outreach events, including job fairs and public exhibits.
- Participates in virtual and in-person booth exhibits at public events.
- Creates marketing materials which include client stories, success stories, and newsletters to showcase AEIP’s impact.
Digital Platform Management/ Content Creation
- Manages AEIP’s social media channels by creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content, responding to inquiries, and maintaining an active online presence.
- Creates written and visual content for multiple platforms, including social media, newsletters, and the AEIP’s website, ensuring all materials are accurate, up-to-date, and engaging.
- Leads the production and distribution of monthly e-newsletters while ensuring that each e-newsletter is tailored to the targeted stakeholder.
- Collaborate with S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Communications department to align AEIP branding and digital assets with the Agency’s standards.
- Assists the Partnership & Communications Manager in developing high-quality promotional factsheets and PowerPoint presentations and liaises with external vendors to support the design and production of high-quality promotional materials.
- Develops and maintains a portfolio of photos to use across digital channels and various reporting purposes.
Reporting and Analytics
- Performs client demographic analysis and develops promotional campaigns to enhance the participation rates,
- Tracks, analyzes and reports on outreach, marketing, and digital engagement activities.
- Utilizes social and web analytics to create optimized digital strategies.
- Provides reports on the utilization and impact of AEIP marketing and promotional activities.
Other Responsibilities
- Acts as a resource for AEIP team members to support digital content and marketing needs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Partnership & Communications Manager.
Education, Training and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably in a not-for-profit environment
- Experience in content creation and social media management
- Knowledge of various e-mail marketing tools (Envoke etc.) is an asset
- Knowledge of the Canadian settlement sector is an asset

- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS office, social media platforms, and web-based applications (e.g., Envoke, WordPress, Canva) and graphical applications
- Knowledge of social and web analytics
- Excellent public speaking and group facilitation skills

- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent record management skills with clear Knowledge of data security and confidentiality protocols
