Overview: The Junior Infrastructure Sales Representative will focus on on-site work, including visiting municipal facilities, conducting site inspections, guiding contractors, and building relationships with municipal clients and owners. This role involves significant travel within the assigned territory to support the company’s engineered products and solutions for water, wastewater, and transportation infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-Site Work:
- Visit municipal facilities and project sites to provide hands-on support.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure proper product implementation.
- Offer guidance to contractors on the installation and operation of company products.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients, owners, and contractors.
- Act as a key point of contact for municipal facilities, ensuring clear and professional communication.
- Assist in developing value-added solutions tailored to client needs.
- Territory and Account Management:
- Maintain an updated account list with key municipal and owner contacts.
- Track and prioritize project opportunities within the territory.
- Ensure accurate documentation and updates in company databases.
- Reporting and Administrative Duties:
- Submit weekly activity reports and monthly account highlights.
- Fulfill corporate administrative requirements, including strategic account plans.
Qualifications:
- A College or University degree is preferred but not required.
- Previous sales or related experience in water, wastewater, or infrastructure markets is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and confident, with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight trips.
