Biochem Environmental Solutions is currently seeking talented, competitive individuals to join our growing Sales organization. As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for the sales of our business to business services to new and existing customers within an assigned/designated territory. The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle including pipeline building, identifying and qualifying target opportunities, meeting with prospective customers, finalizing and closing orders and following through to revenue. You will be provided with the latest technology, tools and training to ensure best chance of success. Position Purpose:
This role is a Senior sales role. You will be looking after a client base of larger accounts within the assigned region, as well as prospecting new clients.. The Senior Sales Executive, a key member of Biochem's sales organization, is responsible for the sale of Biochem's services to potential and existing customers within an assigned territory. The Senior Sales Executive maintains Biochem's policies, standards, and ensures adherence to Biochem’s Vision, Mission and Values.
Key Job Activities:
Sales Responsibilities:
- Relentlessly sell Hygiene, Health and Safety, and Pest Control services to current and prospective customers in a specific territory.
- In conjunction with Sales leadership, develop and set specific and measurable sales targets (activity and revenue) on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of new opportunities for the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain a sales strategy for the assigned territory.
- Maintain a personal level of expertise of Biochem services and competitive solutions.
- Develop customer lead activity through telephone cold-calling, appointment setting and direct mail campaigns.
- Participate in all sales and other training provided by Biochem.
- Implement and demonstrate best practices to sell Biochem's solutions to prospective and existing customers.
- Participate in special projects and promotional campaigns under the direction of the Sales leadership.
- Report activities and sales results to Sales leadership.
Customer Service Responsibilities:
- Liaise with customers to understand their requirements with respect to products and services that the business currently offers or is planning to offer.
- Establish personal relationships with current and potential customers in the assigned territory.
- Provide exceptional customer service which exceeds expectations on a regular basis.
Required Skills:

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Strong prospecting and business development skills
- Demonstrated expertise in initiating and managing successful business-to-business sales and service relationships
- Strong and polished professional communication skills, negotiating abilities and excellent phone etiquette
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and internet/social media
- Able and prepared to travel within a defined, local territory on a daily basis; minimal long distance travel is required
Experience/Education:
- 5 to 10 year prior sales experience is highly preferred
- Hygiene or Pest Control or Heath and Safety industry experience highly preferred
- Experience selling in a business-to-business environment involving varying sales cycles and multiple levels of decision makers is highly preferred
- Experience in a high volume / high transaction industry is highly preferred
- Post-secondary education (College or University Degree) is strongly desired
- Experience using Salesforce is preferred
