What You'll Be Doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s CB&PT QA Team. You’ll be hands on with all aspects of the systems testing process and provide suggestions that will ensure client needs are met with the highest quality. As a Test Coordinator, you’ll be a team lead on CIBC’s Technology team, assigning and overseeing and also executing test cases. You’ll create test cases, test plans, develop strategies, and provide estimates that will help build the bank of the future.
How You'll Succeed

Testing Expertise – Lead the analysis and translation of business requirements into test cases. Design and manage testing activities for various projects across the business. Use your expertise in software development testing to provide clients with quality products that meet business and system requirements.

Leadership Skills – Provide advice to your team, including ongoing feedback, support, and mentorship. Proactively identify any potential issues throughout all test phases, and suggest possible improvements or enhancements.

Project Coordination – Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a project’s timeline or success and provide regular status updates to the business. Keep the lines of communication open with stakeholders, and escalate issues when necessary. Ensure that all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned to your project’s timeline, budget and objectives.
Who You Are
-
You can demonstrate strong knowledge of about 3- 5 years wiSoftware concepts: Software Testing Methodologies, Service Oriented Architecture, SOAP and REST, API. Programming languages: SQL, Core Java, Python.

It is an asset if you can demonstrate experience in Banking industry testing, Fraud ,Payments and Webservice testing, knowledge of Microservices as well as C#, JIRA, Eclipse .

Hands on experience with SQL Queries, Database testing. Strong knowledge of: HP ALM, Parasoft SOA, API Tool.

Hands on experience with SQL Queries, Database testing. Experience with multiple testing methodologies and processes (Agile and Waterfall), sound knowledge on Automation framework and processes.

It would be considered an asset if you have experience testing with HP NonStop Tandem, APIs.

You have a degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.
