As the Content Creator, you’ll play a vital role in amplifying go2HR’s mission through content creation, social media management, website updates, and customer engagement. You will be responsible for planning, producing, and managing engaging content across various platforms to inspire tourism and hospitality businesses to have a strong human resources and health & safety culture that supports strong business performance.
This role is all about crafting high-value content that resonates with our target audience, builds trust and positions us as an industry thought leader. The ideal candidate is a highly organized team player with strong writing, visual storytelling, and social media skills who strives to continuously learn from others and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and the ability to work with various departments assisting with the development and execution of new digital content
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging digital content for newsletters, websites, e-blasts, aimed at addressing key audience needs and providing solution driven resources.
- Create and manage compelling social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X, analyzing metrics to optimize performance.
- Manage go2HR Google Ads account
- Support website and CRM updates by collaborating with departments to monitor, create, and update content.
- Assist internal teams with communication initiatives and training efforts.
- Collaborate with the communications team to ideate content strategies that elevate our brand and reach
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators
- Provide customer service and administrative support, including responding to general emails, general job board support, preparing reports, presentations, meeting logistics, records management, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field or related experience.
- 2+ years of experience in content development, social media management or digital marketing.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven success in creating impactful digital content and running effective social media channels.
- Technical proficiency in tools like HubSpot, WordPress, and graphic design software.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content development
- Skilled in using and interpreting analytic tools (Google Analytics)
- Experience with video content creation and basic video editing tools is an advantage

Salary Range: $50,000–$60,000, depending on experience.

Work Environment:
This is a full-time hybrid (2 days per week at go2HR’s head office (downtown Vancouver) role requiring candidates to reside in the Vancouver area.
