Job Summary:
One Team Health, a subsidiary of Argus Group Holdings Limited, is currently seeking a skilled Travel Concierge. In this role, the Travel Concierge will work closely with the Health Services team and clients to facilitate travel arrangements for plan members requiring overseas travel. From booking flights to securing accommodations, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer service and promptly addressing communications from staff and clients. Your knowledge and experience in the travel and tourism industry will be crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient travel experiences for our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Book flights, hotel accommodations and other travel related services for plan members/clients in conjunction with the Health Services team
· Coordinate travel arrangements meticulously, prioritizing timeliness, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with organizational policies.
· Communicate with team members to confirm travel details and provide necessary information to ensure travel arrangements are seamless
· Handle any travel-related issues or emergencies adeptly, demonstrating agility and resourcefulness in resolving challenges
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, industry regulations, and best practices
· Collaborate with other departments such as Finance and Human Resources to process any travel expenses and reimbursements
· Emergency availability required. Reachable and responsive outside regular hours to address urgent travel issues and support clients
· Provide excellent customer service not only to internal team members but also external clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
Requirements:
· Previous experience working as a Travel Concierge or in a similar customer service role within the travel industry
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer service environment
· Knowledge of travel destinations, routes, accommodations, and travel deals
· Proficiency in using computer reservation systems and travel booking software including GDS
· Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
· Post-secondary education in travel and tourism or equivalent work experience
· Proficiency in the use of the internet
· Familiarity and knowledge of Microsoft Suite
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in travel arrangements
· Knowledge of health and safety protocols related to travel is preferred
