Position: Full-Time Certified Ballet Instructor with Choreographic Expertise

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Certified Ballet Instructor in either
RAD or other equivalent credentials to join our distinguished faculty, serving both our Children’s and Junior
Divisions. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in classical ballet, demonstrable
choreographic skills, and a genuine commitment to inspiring young dancers aged 3 to 14.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging ballet lessons tailored to diverse skill levels and age groups.
- Prepare students for examinations, encompassing Primary to Grade Five, Higher Grades Six
through Eight, and Vocational Examinations including Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate and
Advanced Foundation Male/Female Syllabus
- Choreograph and stage repertoire for class showcases, competitions and performances.
- Provide personalized feedback to support each student's technical and artistic growth.
- Collaborate effectively with accompanists and utilize personal resources for class music, repertoire,
and syllabus materials.
- Conduct both individual and group instruction, adapting teaching methods to meet student needs.
- Uphold and enforce all Academy policies and procedures, contributing to a positive and
professional learning environment.
- Undertake administrative duties to support Academy operations, including preparing report cards,
participating in parent-teacher meetings, scheduling and attending artistic staff meetings.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students,
parents, and staff.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a dancer, choreographer, and/or ballet instructor.
Formal training from a recognized ballet institution, with a strong foundation in classical ballet and
comprehensive knowledge of classical repertoire.
RAD Teaching Certification or equivalent credentials.
Demonstrated ability to teach a range of levels and ages, specifically children aged 3 to 14.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
