We have an immediate opening for an experienced Welder.
Wage will be dependent on experience, skills and knowledge.
Your duties will include (but not limited to) joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques. Working with raw steel up to finished polished steel.
Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness. You will be familiar with and comply with all safety requirements and protocols.
Diploma in welding is required with combined experience.
Must be fluent in English.
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
Job description:
- High Production Welding of Structural components: Tube, Beams, Angles, plates
- Ability to tack components in a fixture or tig & mig welding.
- Must be able to set-up, monitor and troubleshoot welding machine, gas, wire, settings, and cables.
- Must be able to read and follow drawing and specifications as needed.
- Must be able to read and understand basic measuring tools.
- Welds in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Cleans or degreases weld joint or workpiece.
- Cutting, Grinding, sanding, etc working with steel

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
