Junior CAD Technician
Enflux Engineering is seeking a motivated Junior CAD Technician to join our dynamic team in Vancouver. In this role, you will contribute to creating detailed CAD drawings for power generation and related infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with up to three years of experience who are looking to grow their skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop precise CAD drawings for the design, repair, and construction of power generation projects, hydraulic structures, and hydropower installations.
- Collaborate with project teams to contribute to the successful completion of projects.
- Monitor and assist in maintaining and updating quality processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Diploma/Certificate in Civil/Structural Engineering Technology or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience in civil/structural design or drawing, preferably related to hydropower, dams, or hydraulic structures.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in the latest AutoCAD software, with a solid understanding of layering, annotative scales, blocks, Xref, etc. (primary skill).
- Experience with Civil 3D and/or SolidWorks is an asset.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Personal Attributes:
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
