As we continue to grow, we’re currently seeking a talented and driven Videographer/Photographer to join our team on a project-to-project basis and grow with us.
Position Overview:
If you’re an early-career videographer/photographer, this is a fantastic project-based opportunity for you. Ideally, you’re a student or recent graduate, with the passion and detail orientation that will help you develop and expand your skills working on a wide range of projects while gaining mentorship and building a portfolio of creative work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality video and photo content for diverse projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and creative direction
- Set up and break down shoots, including managing and handling heavy equipment.
- Collaborate with the team, incorporating feedback to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with the team, taking direction and feedback to ensure the desired outcome
- Present yourself professionally on set and in client interactions, maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Contribute to a positive team environment while continuously improving your skill with mentorship
- Adapt to various project types and environments with flexibility and creativity
Requirements:
- Currently residing in Vancouver, BC
- Proven experience in video production, including camera operation, lighting and sound equipment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills and professionalism in client-facing roles
- Ability to present yourself professionally on set and in client-facing situations
- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication (fluency in additional languages such as French, German, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus)
- Experience with Canon DSLRs is an asset
- Flexible availability for project-based (freelance) work
Compensation:
We offer entry-level, per-project pay based on experience, with mentorship and opportunities to grow your skills in videography/photography.
