Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and shipping customer orders in a timely manner, efficiently processing incoming shipments, verifying inventory counts, and ensuring that products are correctly stored, tracked, and prepared for distribution to the appropriate areas within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders or shipping requests.
- Verify product details (size, color, etc.) to ensure accuracy before picking.
Order Packing
- Carefully pack picked items in appropriate materials (boxes, bags, etc.) to prevent damage during transit.
- Ensure all orders are packed with attention to detail, checking for accuracy before sealing.
- Label packages with correct shipping information, including addresses, barcodes, and tracking numbers.
- Maintain organization in packing stations, ensuring packing materials are well-stocked.
Shipping & Documentation
- Generate shipping labels and documentation using warehouse management software.
- Organize and prepare shipments for outgoing delivery, coordinating with carriers for timely pickups.
- Assist in managing inventory to ensure availability of shipping supplies (boxes, tape, labels, etc.).
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues regarding orders to the supervisor or relevant departments.
Quality Control
- Double-check orders before shipment to ensure all items are correct and meet quality standards.
- Report any damaged or defective products to the quality control team.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Team Collaboration
- Work with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfilment.
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.
Receive Shipments
- Unload and verify incoming shipments from suppliers, ensuring all items match purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect received goods for quality, damage, and compliance with order specifications.
- Properly label, tag and sort items by SKU and location.
Inventory Reconciliation: Assist in quarterly counts and weekly cycle accounts to ensure accuracy of all products.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or fulfilment experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for order accuracy and quantity verification.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or order fulfilment software is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Demands
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may be noisy or subject to temperature fluctuations.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Must be able to work in our offices downtown Toronto.
