A government sector client located in downtown Toronto is seeking Procurement Coordinators to deliver procurement and contract management expertise, coordination, and high-quality customer support to various government departments. The role includes the following responsibilities:
- Providing Expert Guidance: Offer strategic advice to clients, identify their procurement needs, and lead projects related to the development of materials necessary for acquiring goods and services through a second-stage procurement process.
- Client and Vendor Management: Oversee and coordinate the administration of Requests for Service (RFS), contracts, agreements, and statements of work. Address and resolve any issues that may arise during these processes.
- Material Development and Vendor Engagement: Create second-stage procurement materials tailored to client needs and manage communications and interactions with vendors effectively.

- Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills to provide guidance and information to clients and team members, respond to inquiries, ensure a fair and transparent procurement process, provide updates on request status, and communicate vendor requirements effectively.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar procurement software systems.
