Job Summary:
As a Mobile Childcare Educator with ChildCareConnect, you'll play a vital role in shaping young minds and providing exceptional care in a dynamic, mobile setting. You'll work independently, traveling to the homes of our clients within Vancouver to provide engaging and age-appropriate childcare experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that align with early learning goals.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment in clients' homes.
- Create and maintain detailed records of children's progress and development.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and the ChildCareConnect team.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's daily activities and progress.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and ChildCareConnect policies and procedures.
- Manage your own schedule and travel arrangements within designated service areas.
- Maintain your own vehicle (mileage reimbursement will be provided).
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from a recognized educational institution.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with children (preferred but not mandatory for recent graduates).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Enhanced Police Check/Vulnerable Sector Check will be required upon offer of employment.
