At Ledcor, we are looking for students to support our Integrated Digital Services team. In this role, you will work closely with both project and office staff to develop, maintain, and leverage model data for assigned projects.

Responsibilities:
- Support the creation of 3D models from 2D plans and technical specifications
- Support model-related project coordination, including model coordination with trade contractors
- Accumulate related information from project stakeholders for incorporation into the 3d model
- Maintains modeling-related document management systems on projects. Responsible for document control activities
- Coordinate 3D laser scans/point cloud models
- Perform clash detections
- Provide modeling information and/or coordinates input from the site to assist with design
- Perform quantity take-offs to support estimating
- Generate 4D simulations and site logistic models
- Communicate 3D site logistics plan and 4D modeling animation to project stakeholders
- Support the development of 4D RFP deliverables. This may include a combination of the following:
- Coordinating the video storyboard
- Identifying areas of focus for the flyover and preferred camera angles
- Supporting/coordinating the voiceover script and recording
- Post-production
- Work closely with the pursuit team and operations to develop content for presentation material
Qualifications:
- Completed a technical program, preferably in engineering (civil, mechanical, Electrical or structural). Individuals studying surveying, geomatics, architectural technology, or 3D modeling / animation would also be an asset
- Experience with civil construction design preferred
- Technical background with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and 3ds Max
- Motivated, self-starter who can work well independently or within a team environment?
- Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies?
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication, planning and organizational skills
