Duties:
- Oversees the team of Production Team Leads and assists with labor reallocation as needed
- Ensures efficient job completion while adhering to quality standards and deadlines
- Collaborates with the Inventory Team Lead to address inventory shortages and communicates issues with the Production
- Reviews all job cards daily to verify accurate posting of materials and labor before closure
- Maintains essential documentation, including Health and Safety Records, Employee Training Records, and Equipment Records
- Tracks job times and reports plant efficiency by production employee
- Report equipment issues to the maintenance team and the Operations Manager
- Develops and monitors KPIs for the team
- Provides feedback to the Operations Manager regarding individual production performance for annual reviews and the merit program
- Ensures full compliance with company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards
- Protects client and company confidentiality by securing sensitive information
- Fosters positive working relationships with team members and managementFully cooperates with all Marketing Impact Limited staff to maintain a streamlined and productive organization
Requirements:
- A Bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Commerce or Operations Management) is required
- Diploma in Human Resources is an asset
- 3+ years of experience as a machine operator is required
- 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, specifically in custom merchandising displays and point-of-purchase (POP) displays is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Familiarity with production tracking software or ERP systems (Sphire)
