About the role
The primary role of the Bilingual Client Solutions Advisor is to support, grow and develop accounts in order to achieve sales and gross profit forecasts within the Public Sector.
The role will be focused on driving increased sales by inbound and outbound calling within a team-based environment, promoting solutions tailored through approved product lines and individual department requirements. Customer support includes coordinating requests and inquiries, placing orders and resolving customer issues.
In this role, you will need to understand and maintain a thorough knowledge of the different standing offers/ contracts within the respective sectors.
Outbound Responsibilities (40%)
- Build rapport and sell products and services over the phone, including referrals, warm calls, and cold calls.
- Uncover opportunities with existing accounts and prospects and manage them within a funnel.
- Have a strong understanding of the assigned public and health care sector accounts, maintain relationship and sales in order to achieve sales and GP% targets.
- Anticipate buyer objections and having alternative strategies to solve resistance. Consult with District Sales Manager during the development and implementation of the plan, communicating any major successes or setbacks.
- In consultation with District Sales Manager, develop a yearly business plan, outlining specific actions, communicating success and obstacles to ensure attainment of company objectives.
Inbound Responsibilities (40%)
- Respond quickly and efficiently to client requests
- Perform complex tasks, such as providing formal quotations for public sector and health care clients, sourcing and placing special orders
- Identify new business opportunities using established selling methods and contribute to the goal of surpassing monthly and yearly team targets.
- Support the team inbox as and when required
General Responsibilities (20%)
- Attend and contribute to regular team and individual meetings.
- Provide feedback to the team on issues uncovered during customer interactions.
- Other duties as requested by management.
What qualifications do I need?
- Post Secondary education (preferably in business, customer service or sales and marketing)
- 1-3 years work experience in Sales, Customer Care, Sales Support or Sales Operations
- Bilingualism in English and French is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AS400 systems (HFA)
- Experience with a CRM; SalesForce.com an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player

- Strong organizational skills
- Good customer service and customer negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and analyze complex or undefined issues to determine proper course of action
