Bulk Lubricant Driver
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs role in a manner that is reflective of Brenntag’s Core Values, within regulatory requirements and company policies, programs and expectations;
- Ensures a safe work environment at all times, reporting unsafe conditions immediately to Site Management;
- Completes a daily pre-trip safety inspection prior to the operation of the vehicle.
- Picks up and delivers Brenntag Canada’s products in a safe and conscientious manner;
- Performs a three way match (compartment, tank label/tag, Bill of Lading) prior to every product dispensed;
- Keeps the vehicle and all equipment that he/she is assigned in a mechanically sound, safe, and clean condition;
- Completes all paperwork such as log books, truck inspection forms, run sheets, bills of lading, etc. precisely and in a timely manner;
- Works toward meeting business goals and shares successes with others;
- Makes every effort to support commercial group at all times;
- Schedules activities such that they are completed in a timely manner;
- Makes every effort to keep the business informed of results of activities;
- Completes other tasks and special projects as assigned by the Site Manager/Site Supervisor/ Operations Manager
YOUR PROFILE
- Education and Experience:
- Trained in defensive driving
- Holds valid D-Z license or A-Z license, with minimum 2 years driving experience
- Knowledge and/or training in TDG, WHMIS, Emergency Response, Forklift License
- Must have a good understanding of the Highway Traffic Act as it reflects on truck driving
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
- Must have a clean CVOR and Driver Abstract.
- Must undertake a criminal background check with no convictions.
